The Sales Intern will gain an understanding of transportation, sales and customer service through training opportunities and hands-on work assignments. Responsibilities:

• Learn and apply Schneider's sales process.
• Prospect for new customers.
• Create and track orders.
• Negotiate rates with carriers.
• Communicate with customers on the status of loads. Internship-specific opportunities:
  • Networking events with Schneider associates.
  • Professional skills trainings led by Schneider leaders.
  • Business resource groups meetings and events.
  • Volunteer activities.
  • After-work social gatherings. Skills and qualifications:
    • Currently enrolled at a college or university.
    • Working toward a bachelor's degree.
    • 1 year of previous work experience.
    • Able to work full-time over the summer.
