Job Description:
A company is looking for a Cyber Defense Analyst 1 to monitor
security events and assess vulnerabilities in on-prem and Azure
cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Triages and correlates security events across cybersecurity
operations platforms
Identifies high impact vulnerabilities and analyzes network traffic
for anomalous activity
Maintains current threat knowledge and applies frameworks like NIST
CSF and MITRE ATT&CK
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or 4 years of experience in
lieu of a degree
Experience with cybersecurity operations platforms, including
Microsoft Azure and Defender for O365
Knowledge of cyber defense tools and techniques for monitoring
system activity
Familiarity with threat actors, tactics, techniques, and
procedures
Understanding of vulnerability assessment and incident response
processes
